Oremos is a Catholic prayer app. It offers guided prayers, a daily Word, reading plans, a personal journal and a community where intentions are shared. It is not a substitute for spiritual, pastoral, medical or psychological care.
You may use Oremos without creating an account. Access is personal and non-commercial. You may not copy, resell or redistribute the app's content.
Oremos + is a paid subscription giving access to “A Word for you”, the reading plans, your intentions and past Words. Payment is charged by the store (App Store or Google Play) on confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Where a free trial applies, you are charged only at the end of that trial, unless you cancel first. Management and cancellation are done in the store's settings, not inside the app. You keep access until the end of the period already paid for; there are no partial refunds.
Intentions and comments you share are public to other users. Offensive, hateful, obscene, defamatory, misleading or unlawful content is not tolerated, nor is harassment of any person. You can report content or block a user from any post. We review reports and remove content that breaks these rules within 24 hours, and may suspend access for those who break them. By posting, you confirm the content is yours and allow us to display it in the app.
Your journal and your personal intentions are yours. The text you write in “A Word for you” is sent to our server only to generate the response, and is not stored unless you save it to your journal. See the Privacy Policy for what is collected.
We aim to keep Oremos available and accurate, but the service is provided “as is”. Some features depend on an internet connection and on third-party services. We are not liable for interruptions, for the loss of data held only on your device, or for decisions taken on the basis of the app's content.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
